Retelec System offers the most complete solutions against surges

The firm presents its range specialized in surge protection, a line of products that prevents damage to equipment and installations

–  Retelec System, specialists in efficient solutions for electrical systems, presents its MAXGE devices for protection against surges, a problem that accounts for 11% of all accidents that take place in homes. Regarding this, in 2018 ENDESA published a new particular specification, NRZ103, which establishes the obligation, in certain autonomous communities, to protect power lines against surges both in meter centralizations and in control and protection panels.

Retelec presents a wide range of devices against transient overvoltages (including protection for photovoltaic installations), as well as permanent ones with a reconnection system.

Protection combined with reconnection, the star products of this range

The combined IGA + permanent and transient overvoltage protector (EPBOV2SC, EPBOV4SC) offers an integrated and complete solution. Among its technical characteristics, it has a breaking capacity of 10kA, type 2 arrester, incorporates a mechanical status indicator and complies with EN50550, IEC60898-1 regulations. It is easy to install and comes pre-wired, so all these advantages make it one of our best-selling products.

MT53UV The MT53UV series offers IGA plus permanent overvoltage protection with an additional advantage, which allows automatic disconnection and reconnection of the installation when there are voltage problems. Likewise, it comes pre-wired and complies with the respective regulations. In addition to all this, we have separate transitional protections. Both type 3, type 2, type 1, type 1+2 and in the case of photovoltaics up to 1500V direct current. In this way, RETELEC System provides a complete solution to the problem of failures due to surges and avoids both economic and productivity losses in the facilities.
