Professionals improve their knowledge in photovoltaic self-consumption with RETELEC SYSTEM

-RETELEC SYSTEM continues to focus on training professionals on photovoltaic self-consumption at COVAMA facilities.

Retelec System, the specialist in efficient solutions for electrical systems, continues to collaborate with the entire value chain of the electrical material market. In its commitment to training aimed at professionals, this March it has organized a new training cycle on new technologies that, with great participation, it has been offering to professionals in collaboration with the distributor COVAMA, since last October.

Photovoltaic self-consumption and energy management have been the main topics addressed in these workshops that have combined practical and theoretical classes, with the idea that installers "delve into these technologies that offer great business opportunities, as they represent a commitment to savings, efficiency and sustainability,” explained Cristian Gallego, head of the RETELEC Photovoltaics Department and in charge of providing the training.

The training action has been developed at the Covama facilities, in Villaba. The distributor has made its classroom available for installers and professionals in the sector to take a step forward in the field of self-consumption. The training, with great participation by attendees, focused on the basic notions that any installer should know when sizing and choosing the correct equipment based on each solar photovoltaic installation.

The momentum that connected equipment is gaining has been key during the day, visualizing real self-consumption installations, and showing that RETELEC SYSTEM's portfolio of solutions and knowledge are a guarantee of success in the development of photovoltaic projects.

Una tendencia de mercado imparable: el autoconsumo FV

There is no doubt that the escalation of energy prices, now aggravated by the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, makes photovoltaic self-consumption an ally for the consumer, due to the energy savings and efficiency advantages it entails.

In this scenario, Cristian Gallego conveyed to professionals the reasons why they should opt for the installation of photovoltaic panels, an efficient technology that favors the environment, has subsidies and aid, and revalues properties. The RETELEC expert defined the different types of self-consumption installations, the calculation and sizing of photovoltaic projects, and the target audience that installers can target, available aid, etc.

After these two training cycles, and with the conviction that training is a key tool for the professional, RETELEC SYSTEM will continue during 2022 with new training actions that train both installers and commercial technicians of warehousemen-distributors, in the prescription of the brand's self-consumption solutions. The brand considers that "the training plan is basic to train and introduce new value-added products and systems that generate benefits for the installer."
